Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-22
These terms are the agreement between you and Better Life With Apps (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Look AI app and this website. They apply alongside the terms of the store you got the app from. By using Look AI you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What Look AI does
Look AI takes one selfie and shows your own face with a different hair colour, haircut, makeup, brows and lashes, or glasses and earrings, or several of them at once, before you book the salon or open a box of dye.
You take or pick a photo of your face, choose a tool — hair colour, haircut, a complete look, makeup, brows and lashes, or glasses and earrings — and answer a few questions about the change you want. An AI image model then redraws your photo with that change. Look AI works above the collarbone only; it has no tools for your body, your skin or your clothes.
A result, which the app calls a look, is a picture of a direction you could take. It is not a photograph of you, not a prediction of what a haircut, a hair dye, a salon treatment or a makeup product will actually do, and not professional advice. The app does not score, rate or rank anyone’s appearance.
2. Your account
The app creates an account for you the first time you open it. There is no sign-up form, and we do not ask for your name or email address. The account is tied to your device: reinstalling the app on the same device normally brings the same account back, while a new device usually starts a new, empty account. On a new device, Restore purchases reconnects the purchases made with your store account.
Look AI is not meant for children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can make a contract where you live, use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Your data → Delete my data, or by email as described on the deletion page. Deletion cannot be undone: it ends any credits left in the account and clears the looks the app keeps on your device. It does not cancel a subscription; cancel that with the store (section 5).
3. AI processing by OpenAI
To make a look, we send your photo and the choices you made to OpenAI, which generates the result on our instructions. Before your first try, the app asks for your permission and names OpenAI; nothing goes to OpenAI and nothing is generated until you allow it. You can withdraw that permission at any time under Settings → Privacy → AI processing, and the app then makes no new looks until you allow it again.
The Privacy Policy explains what OpenAI receives, how long it keeps it, and what we store ourselves. OpenAI’s own rules also apply to what you send (section 10).
4. Before you subscribe
You can try Look AI on your own photo before you buy anything.
- A new account may come with a small allowance of credits for this. It covers a limited number of tries over the whole life of the account; it is not renewed each day or month.
- Until you buy a subscription, a try makes one result.
- Until you buy a subscription, you can save a look only at the size the app shows it. Full-resolution downloads come with a subscription.
- Once the allowance is used up, further tries need a subscription.
5. Subscriptions and payment
- Look AI sells a weekly and a yearly subscription. Both renew automatically until you cancel. There are no one-time credit packs.
- You buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment under its own terms; we never see or hold your payment details. Prices are set per country and shown in your local currency.
- Before you buy, the purchase screen shows the plan’s price, its billing period, the credits it gives, and that it renews until you cancel.
- A subscription gives you credits for each period (section 6), up to four results on one try instead of one, full-resolution downloads, and priority in the generation queue.
- You cancel with the store, not with us. On iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan and its credits stay until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Switching plans. On the App Store, a switch between the weekly and the yearly plan starts when your current period ends, and the new plan’s credits arrive then. On Google Play, the new plan starts at once and its first payment is pushed back by the time left on your current plan. Either way, credits left from the old plan do not carry over.
6. Credits
Tries are paid for with credits.
- Price of a try. The app shows how many credits a try costs before you start it. The price depends on what you ask for, mainly the number of results. We may change the price of future tries. A try you have already started keeps the price it had when you started it.
- You pay only for what is delivered. A try’s credits go back to your balance if the image model fails or times out, if OpenAI refuses or blocks the request, if the try cannot be completed for any other reason, or if you cancel it before it finishes. If you ask for several results and only some are delivered, you pay only for those. One exception: plan credits that come back after their week or month has ended expire, as they would have anyway.
- A delivered look is paid for. A delivered look costs its credits even if you do not like it, and reporting it in the app does not return them. If a look is faulty, contact us. Your legal rights for faulty digital content are not affected.
- Plan credits are given for each billing period. The weekly plan gives its credits for the week. The yearly plan releases its credits month by month: each month’s credits can be used only in that month, and there is a limit on how many plan credits you can use in one week. The purchase screen shows these amounts. Unused plan credits expire at the end of their week or month and do not carry over. A renewal replaces them; it does not add to them.
- Other credits, such as the allowance a new account may come with (section 4), do not expire. When you start a try, plan credits are used first.
- What credits are not. Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, or given to someone else. They belong to your account in the app. If the store moves your purchases to another account of yours, for example when you restore purchases on a new device, your balance moves with them.
7. Refunds
- Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies. Ask for one through the store you paid. We cannot refund you directly, because the store, not us, took your payment.
- When you ask for a refund, the store may ask for our view before it decides. If we answer, our billing provider, RevenueCat, answers on our behalf and tells the store only whether the purchase was delivered, that the app lets you see a result before you pay, and whether we would prefer the refund to be granted or declined. It does not send how much you used the app or what you made with it. The store makes the decision. By asking the store for a refund, you agree that we may answer it in this way.
- If the store refunds a purchase, we remove the credits that purchase gave you, including credits you have already used, and a refunded yearly plan releases no further monthly credits. Your balance can go below zero, and while it does you cannot start new tries. If the store reverses the refund, the credits come back.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU, the UK or Türkiye, the law may give you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or a digital service within 14 days. You buy from the store, so you exercise that right through the store, under its terms and the law where you live. These terms do not ask you to give up any right of withdrawal the law gives you.
A look is supplied the moment it is delivered. Under Turkish law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services performed instantly online or to intangible goods delivered instantly (Distance Contracts Regulation, Art. 15(1)(ğ)); a delivered look is one of these.
9. AI-generated looks
Looks are made by an AI image model that redraws the whole picture. The model is told to keep your features and your skin tone as photographed and to change only what you chose, but it does not always manage it, and the same photo and the same choices can give different results.
Results are produced by an AI image model that redraws the whole picture. A result is a drawing of you rather than a photograph of you, and face proportions, skin tone and small details can shift between tries. The app does not score or rate anyone’s appearance, and a result is not a prediction of what a salon or a box of dye will do to your hair.
Compare every look with your own photo before you act on it. Whether a cut suits your hair, whether a colour will take, and whether a product suits you are for a stylist or the product’s own instructions to judge, not the app. Looks carry no watermark, so if you show one where people could take it for a real photo, do not present it as one. What we promise about looks is set out in section 14.
10. Acceptable use
Look AI is for trying looks on your own face. You must not:
- upload a photo of someone else unless you have the right to use it and that person has agreed, and never a photo of a child under 13;
- use a look to impersonate someone, or pass it off as a real photo of a person to deceive, embarrass or harass them;
- upload or generate nude or sexual content, content that sexualises anyone, or content that is violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise illegal;
- use a look as identification, in an identity document, or to get past a face or identity check;
- try to get around the app’s limits and checks or the image model’s safety systems;
- attack or overload the service, access it other than through the app, or copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
OpenAI’s usage policies apply to everything sent through the app, and OpenAI may block a request. A blocked request costs no credits (section 6). We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, or where the law requires it.
11. Your photo and your looks
You keep the rights you have in the photo you upload. You allow us to use it only to run the service for you: to receive it, to send it to OpenAI so a look can be made, and to hold the looks until the app has saved them on your device. This permission ends when the photo and the looks are deleted from our systems, as described below, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
We claim no ownership of the looks made for you. Any rights we hold in them we transfer to you, and you may use them for personal or business purposes within these terms. Whether an AI-generated image is protected by copyright depends on the law where you are, and other users may get similar results, so we cannot promise that you hold exclusive rights in a look.
Your looks are kept only on your device. We delete your photo as soon as the try that used it has finished, and the looks as soon as the app confirms it has saved them, in any case within about a day, whether or not that confirmation arrives. After that we hold no copy. If you uninstall the app, clear its data, delete your account or move to a new phone, your looks are gone and we cannot restore them. Save the ones you want to keep to your own photo library.
You are responsible for having the rights to the photo you upload and for how you use and share your looks. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
12. The app and its content
The app, including its software, design, name, and the example faces and style pictures in it, belongs to Better Life With Apps or its licensors. Nothing in these terms lets you copy, sell or reuse the app, its name or its branding.
If you got the app from the App Store, your licence to use it is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you got it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms apply. These terms add the rules for the service, credits and looks. If they conflict with Apple’s agreement about the licence itself, Apple’s agreement prevails. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content or its support; we are.
13. Availability and limits
We work to keep Look AI running, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or that every try will succeed. A try that fails costs no credits (section 6).
We may pause parts of the service, such as photo uploads or new tries, for safety, legal or technical reasons. We also limit how many tries you can make in a period and how many can run at the same time, so the service stays available to everyone. These limits apply with a subscription too; no plan is unlimited. A try stopped by such a limit costs nothing.
We may change the app, including its tools, styles and image model. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan gives you, you can cancel the plan with the store, and your legal rights also apply. If we decide to stop offering the app, we will announce it on this website in advance.
14. What we promise
We provide Look AI with reasonable care and skill, as described in these terms and on the purchase screen. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights when digital content or a digital service is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms limits them.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the app and the looks are provided “as is”. We make no other promise, express or implied, that a look will be accurate, look like you, suit your taste, be achievable at a salon or with a product, be unique to you, or be free of other people’s rights.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen, for loss caused by decisions you make on the basis of a look, such as a haircut, a colour treatment or a purchase, since a look is an illustration and not advice, or for looks lost with a device or an installation, since we keep no copy of them;
- if you use the app for business, we are not liable for lost profit, revenue, business or opportunity, and our total liability for all claims relating to Look AI is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.
16. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Look AI at any time. To end a subscription, cancel it with the store (section 5); to close your account, delete it (section 2).
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the app. Where we can, we will tell you why. If we end your access for a reason that is not your fault, you keep any right the law gives you to a refund for paid credits or plan time you could not use.
Sections 7, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 17, and the part of section 6 that explains what credits are not, continue to apply after the agreement ends.
17. Disputes and your consumer rights
If something goes wrong, write to us first at support@blwapps.com; most problems are quickest to fix that way. Doing so does not stop you from going to a court or a consumer body.
If you use Look AI as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
Consumers in Türkiye can apply to the consumer arbitration committee (tüketici hakem heyeti) where they live or where the purchase was made for disputes below the amount set each year, and to the consumer court (tüketici mahkemesi) for larger disputes, after the mediation the law requires.
18. Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the app, the law or the store rules change. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. We announce changes that materially affect you on this page before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription before the change applies to you. A change never takes away rights you have by law.
If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to that use.
