Delete your account and data
Last updated: 2026-09-22
You can delete your Look AI account and the data attached to it yourself, inside the app. This page gives the steps, says what is deleted, what is kept and for how long, and explains what to do if you cannot use the app.
The app
Look AI is published by Better Life With Apps. On the App Store and Google Play it is listed as “Hairstyle Try On AI: Haircut” (in Turkish, “Saç Modeli Deneme AI: Kesim”); on your phone it appears as Look AI.
There is no sign-up. The first time you open the app, it creates an account for your installation automatically, without asking for your name, email address, phone number or a password. Your credits and purchases are attached to that account.
Your looks are not. They are kept only on your phone: our server deletes your selfie as soon as the look made from it is finished, and deletes the looks themselves once the app has saved them on your phone, within a day at the latest.
Before you start: cancel any subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Apple or Google bills it, so it can only be cancelled in your store account:
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose the subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Choose the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.
If you delete the account without cancelling, the store keeps charging you at each renewal. Deleting the account does not refund any payment or any unused credits. Billing and cancellation are covered in full in the Terms of Use.
Delete your account in the app
Deleting erases your looks from your phone, and we have no copy to give back. Before you start, open each look you want to keep and tap Download to save it to your photos.
- Open Look AI and tap Settings in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down to Your data and tap Delete my data.
- Read the confirmation and tap Request deletion.
The app then signs out, erases what it kept on your phone and returns to its first screen: your looks, the photos in the Photos tab, your answers to the introduction, your AI processing permission and your analytics choice. From that moment the account can no longer be used. If the app shows an error instead, check your connection and try again.
Settings opens only once the app’s introduction is finished, and the last step of the introduction asks for a photo of your face. If the app starts with the introduction — after a reinstall, for example — and you would rather not add a photo, or that step asks you to choose a plan, request deletion by email instead.
What gets deleted, and when
As soon as you confirm, every sign-in to the account is revoked, the notification token your phone registered with us (used to tell you when a look is ready) is deleted, and the app erases its data on your phone, as described above.
24 hours later, our systems delete:
- any selfie or look still held in our file storage — normally there is none, because both are deleted within a day of the look being made;
- the content of every look you asked for: what you asked to change, the options you picked (except the catalogue style, see below), and the exact instructions sent to OpenAI;
- the identifier that connected the account to your device, so opening the app afterwards starts a new, empty account;
- the billing ID that linked the account to your purchases, which is replaced with a random value.
The deletion runs automatically once the 24 hours are up. If a technical fault gets in the way, it is retried, and we complete it within 30 days of your request. Looks you have already saved to your photo library are your own copies; the app does not remove them.
What is kept, and for how long
Kept with no automatic deletion date
- A record that the account existed and was deleted: its internal ID (a random value, not your name), when it was created and deleted, and for your device the platform, app version, language and region setting, and when it was first and last seen. It lets us show that the deletion took place and keeps our purchase records consistent.
- Records of your looks, without the rest of their content: when each look was made, the catalogue style recorded with it, how many images it produced, whether it succeeded and what it cost us to produce, plus the type, size, dimensions and checksum of each deleted file. The files themselves are gone. If you reported a look with Report output, that report stays with the record.
- Purchase and credit records: your credit balance and every credit added, used, refunded or expired; which plan you bought, when, and whether it was refunded; and your subscription status and expiry date. The store transaction and the purchase ID we used with RevenueCat, the service that processes store purchases for us, remain only in one-way hashed form. We keep these records to answer refund requests and payment disputes.
Kept for a limited time
- Audit entries about the account, including the one recording your deletion request: deleted automatically after one year.
- Database backups: one is made every day and the newest 14 are kept, so a copy of the account can remain in a backup for about two weeks. Backups hold database records only, never your selfie or your looks, and are never used to bring a deleted account back.
- What OpenAI keeps: OpenAI, which generates the looks, keeps the requests we send it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse, under its own API terms. It does not use them to train its models. Our deletion does not reach these copies; they expire on OpenAI’s schedule.
Not covered by the deletion
- Records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. Apple or Google keeps its own record of anything you bought, and RevenueCat keeps its record of your purchases under the purchase ID. Deleting the account does not remove them.
- Feedback you sent through Send feedback, kept by Wiredash with the account ID it carried, including any screenshot you attached. Write to us if you want it removed too.
- Usage analytics and crash reports sent through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They are tied to the app installation on your device, not to the account, so they are not deleted with it. The Privacy Policy says how long Google keeps them.
- Server logs. They are not edited when an account is deleted.
- Files under a legal hold. If a court or authority requires us to preserve particular files, those files are left out of the deletion while that requirement lasts.
If you want any of these records deleted as well, write to us as described under Other privacy requests.
Delete single looks and keep the account
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove a look. Open it from Your looks on the home screen or from the History tab, tap More actions at the top of the screen, choose Delete from history and confirm with Delete. The look is removed from your phone and hidden on our server; this needs an internet connection.
To remove a photo of yourself from the Photos tab, open it and tap the delete button at the top (Remove from library). The photo is deleted from your phone; the looks you made with it stay.
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot use it
Uninstalling removes everything the app kept on your phone, your looks included. It does not delete the account or the records on our servers described above, and it does not cancel a subscription.
Reinstalling on the same phone or tablet normally reconnects you to the same account: the app keeps an identifier for your installation that survives removal (on iPhone and iPad in the iOS keychain; on Android it is derived from an ID the system assigns to the app on that device). Your credits and plan come back with it, but your looks do not. After a reinstall the app starts with its introduction again, so the in-app steps above work only once you have finished it.
If you do not want to do that, if the device has been reset or replaced, or if you cannot open the app at all, request deletion by email instead.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the in-app steps, write to privacy@blwapps.com with the subject “Delete my Look AI account” and include:
- that you want your Look AI account and its data deleted;
- whether you used the app on an iPhone or iPad, or on Android;
- if you ever bought a plan, the order number from your App Store or Google Play receipt email.
The account holds no name, email address or phone number, so your email address alone does not tell us which account is yours. A store order number is the detail we can match to an account. If nothing you send lets us identify the account, we will say so in our reply rather than delete an account that may belong to someone else.
We reply within 30 days of receiving your request. Once we have identified the account, we delete it as described on this page and confirm by email. Please do not send us a photo of yourself to prove who you are: we cannot match faces to accounts, and we do not keep photos.
Other privacy requests
Deletion is one of several rights you have. You can also ask for a copy of your data, for correction, for restriction of processing, or object to processing, and you can ask us to delete records listed under What is kept; we will tell you what we can delete and why we keep anything we do not. Write to privacy@blwapps.com; the identification details and reply time above apply. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold and why.
