Getting started
Look AI takes one photo of your face and shows you what a different haircut, hair colour or makeup would look like on you, before you book the salon or open a box of dye.
- Take a clear, well-lit photo of your face, looking at the camera.
- Choose what you want to change: the cut, the colour, makeup, brows or accessories.
- Pick a style from the catalogue, or let the app choose one for you.
- Compare the results and keep the ones worth showing your stylist.
There is no signup step. An account is created for you when you install the app, so you can start straight away.
Common questions
Will it still look like me?
That is what the app is built around: your features and your skin tone are meant to stay yours, and only the thing you picked should change. It is still an image model, so proportions and small details can drift between tries. Compare each result against your own photo.
Can I change my body, my skin or my clothes?
No. Look AI works above the collarbone only: hair, makeup, brows, lashes, glasses and earrings. There is nothing for body, skin or clothing, and that is deliberate.
Can I take a result to a salon?
That is what it is for. Treat it as a picture of the direction you want rather than a promise about what your hair can physically do — your stylist decides that part.
Subscriptions, cancelling and refunds
- Where you are billed. Paid plans are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. The price and the renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.
- Cancelling. On iOS: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the period you paid for ends.
- Refunds. Ask the store. We do not hold your payment method and cannot refund you directly. We never see or store your card number.
- Restoring a purchase. If you have paid but the app does not show the plan, use the restore option on the purchase screen while signed in to the same store account you bought with.
When a generation fails or looks wrong
- Check your connection and try again — generation runs on our servers, so the app needs to reach them.
- Give the model more to work on: a sharper, better-lit photo, or a more specific description.
- Generate again. Output is probabilistic, so a second attempt with the same input can give a noticeably better result.
- Results are not guaranteed to be accurate. Results are produced by an AI image model that redraws the whole picture. A result is a drawing of you rather than a photograph of you, and face proportions, skin tone and small details can shift between tries. The app does not score or rate anyone’s appearance, and a result is not a prediction of what a salon or a box of dye will do to your hair.
